Payment Page

Payment Page is the suggested way to let customers complete a payment created through Bitclear API.

The V4 payment response includes paymentPageUrl. Redirect the customer to this URL, or embed it in your checkout flow, so the customer can see the target amount, address, and payment status.

Full specification and example

Example

  1. Merchant creates a payment with POST /v4/payments
  2. Bitclear API returns paymentPageUrl
  3. Customer is redirected to paymentPageUrl
  4. Customer pays the requested amount to the payment address
  5. Payment changes status as funds are detected and accepted
  6. Merchant receives notifications through notificationUrl, if one was provided

Considering handling UNCONFIRMED state

The UNCONFIRMED state is temporary and depends on risk checks and blockchain confirmations. If this state is reached, Bitclear API needs to wait before confirming payment.

Payments in this state can wait between a few minutes and many hours, depending on cryptocurrency network conditions.

Do not release goods solely from the customer seeing the Payment Page. Use GET /v4/payments/{id} or payment notifications, and release goods only according to your integration policy for CONFIRMED or other supported states.
